Since 2016, Pizzeria Limone has been serving authentic Neapolitan-style pizza across multiple locations in Utah. As a family-run Italian restaurant, they specialize in traditional pizza-making techniques using wood-fired ovens, fresh ingredients, and handmade dough prepared daily in-house. Their commitment to quality and authenticity has earned them recognition as one of Utah's premier Neapolitan pizza destinations.
The restaurant approached us with a clear vision: to extend their exceptional in-restaurant experience to the digital space. With locations in Salt Lake City Downtown, South Jordan (The District), Sandy, Cottonwood Heights, and St. George, they needed a unified online ordering system that would maintain their high standards while providing customers with seamless digital convenience. Their menu features classic and creative pizzas, Italian-inspired salads, handcrafted lemonades, and from-scratch gelato.

Market Analysis & User Research
We analyzed customer ordering patterns and preferences specific to pizza restaurants. Understanding that Pizzeria Limone exclusively uses website orders, we researched best practices for conversion optimization, mobile ordering experiences, and multi-location restaurant platforms to ensure we built a system customers would embrace completely.
Platform Design & Development
Our team designed an intuitive interface showcasing high-quality pizza photography, detailed menu descriptions, and location-specific information. Built a mobile-first responsive design ensuring seamless ordering from any device, since phone orders are not accepted and customers must use the website for all orders including pickup and delivery.
Integrated full menu display including pizzas, Italian-inspired appetizers and salads, handcrafted lemonades, and from-scratch gelato with detailed descriptions and allergen information.

Location-Based Ordering System
The platform features an intelligent location selector that allows customers to choose from five Utah locations: Downtown Salt Lake City for urban diners, The District in South Jordan for families, Sandy for west-side residents, Cottonwood Heights near Fort Union, and St. George for southern Utah customers since 2016.
Each location displays specific hours, menus, and availability. The system automatically routes orders to the correct kitchen, manages location-specific inventory, and provides accurate pickup/delivery estimates based on real-time kitchen capacity at each site.
Authentic Neapolitan Pizza Customization
Our custom pizza builder showcases the traditional Neapolitan-style options that make Pizzeria Limone unique. Customers can select from classic favorites like Margherita to creative combinations featuring fresh cheeses, finest tomatoes, and premium toppings - all cooked in authentic wood-fired ovens at high temperatures.
The system includes visual representations of pizzas, detailed ingredient descriptions highlighting freshness and quality, vegetarian-friendly filtering options, and recommendations based on Pizzeria Limone's traditional Italian recipes refined since 2016.
Seamless Website-Only Ordering Flow
Since Pizzeria Limone does not accept phone orders, we created an exceptionally smooth ordering experience that customers prefer. The streamlined checkout process requires minimal clicks, with saved customer preferences, multiple payment options, and clear order confirmation displays.
Real-time order tracking keeps customers informed throughout the preparation process. They receive immediate confirmation, updates when their order enters the wood-fired oven, and notification when ready for pickup or out for delivery - all without needing to call the restaurant.
